Among units subordinate to SIS are bodies such as the Center for Continuing Education and Testing Center, which offer training of foreign languages and other skills, testing, and other services to administrative officials, corporate managers, senior technicians and those going abroad. To date, tens of thousands of people from the State Bureau of Statistics, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, provincial departments and bureaus, banks, the Organization Department of ZJU, and other bodies, have used these services.

The Center for Continuing Education offers programs of preparatory courses for undergraduate and postgraduate study in 11 countries (the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan and South Korea).
